With a release date right in the middle of the season of great games of the year and a name like Fusion: Genesis

, there is a slight chance they have neglected this title on Xbox Live Arcade. It's a shame, because the project by several former employees rare ( Killer Instinct

Perfect Dark

) is married with two major issues that can cause drooling fans of the genre: the shooter and double stick fighting formula sims fan favorite from the old space


Fusion: Genesis therefore not without ambition, but perhaps a little
too
ambitious.

was the first title that really this translation. menus and commands traditionally reserved for the PC, it is manageable to play the entire game with a single console driver

In many ways Fusion: Genesis

reflects many of the methods of the interface

Darkstar One

works so well, but it is more arcade shooter designed from top to bottom. Being a dual-stick shooter at heart, will fly around the levels of large space filled with docking stations on asteroids of an explosion or a mine, and enemies to destroy. It seems pleasant enough, with layers of depth that makes the 2D approach, without sacrificing the feeling that they fly in space.
