, released in 2009, was a mixture of platforms, physics puzzles, and action with RPG elements. Although some of these items were stronger than others, the ability to switch between three different characters at will to solve puzzles and progress through the game is a pretty interesting concept.

Trine 2

follows three very different people who have been forced, in the first degree, to become heroes. Each character has a specific set of skills: Zoya the thief has a hook and handle of a bow, Ponce, a gentleman, has a sword and a shield and a hammer with both hands, and Amadeus is a magician who can evoke the boxes and tables, and is also able to levitate objects. The three classes can not be anything original, but the ability to switch between them at will, and players will struggle to find your way through thirteen levels of the game

Each level contains puzzles, traps and enemies to kill. They also contain death. Many deaths. As with any game in the genre of puzzles, most of the solutions found by trial and error, and very few errors that end with one or more of three characters die. When a character dies, you can simply switch to another (there are three of them there are, after all) and move on.

If you have a special relationship with one of the three, however, the recovery of them is as easy as finding an orbit checkpoint, which is almost always going to be very close to a break head particularly difficult or one of the hardest fighting. This allows you to quickly save your progress, to revive the fallen heroes, and completely restore the health of all three. Although the zones can not always be there when you need it, liberal placement helps a lot and will probably see an area more than once.
