Gallery: How the PS Vita and PS3 connect to transfer data
You have two options for transferring and saving Vita content, including photos, music, saved games and downloaded games. You can connect to a PC (and later, Mac - the application is not available at launch in Japan, to my irritation) with "Assistant Content Manager" installed, which allows only the computer to read the Vita as a hard disk, or you can connect to a PS3.
