play death and in most cases continue to play (often in spite of ourselves, and to the detriment of relationships and jobs).

15. Bastion (Warner, PC, Xbox 360)

The RPG genre tends to grow at geologically with the developers of the game slow iteration tiny components for many years. But in 2011, the Bastion was injected into the scene as a powerful drug psychotropic busting a range of fresh ideas. Developed by Independent studio Supergiant Games tiny, this fantasy adventure has a vibrant post-apocalyptic world that builds up around the main character as he walks, and a voice that says each player's action, all woven into the story simple. The aesthetic principles are very beautiful, by rejecting traditional notions of Armageddon for rich colors and audio on the move. An absolute treasure.

14. FIFA 12 (EA, DS, PC, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360)

Gears is part of a duo with blood (with Halo, of course) that defines the traditional experience of Xbox: carnage, self-grand, highly stylized alien worlds.
