Preview in a pub: Professor Layton and the Last Specter
When one thinks of the great Nintendo DS games, it's hard not to think of any Professor Layton
games. Level-5 in a series of beautiful bright and whimsical adventures solving puzzles is almost synonymous with the handheld.
recently had the opportunity to
Professor Layton and the last spectrum - the fourth in the series - perhaps a move to one of most unique events I attended preview. Nestled in a booth at the British pub The House of Shields, who was paired with a team of fellow gaming journalists at a handful of puzzles - against the pressure of a clock - in order to gain a very coveted Golden Hat trophy. We were confident, perhaps a bit arrogant - after all, our team was named the F * ucking spectra with an "re" - but they were not going to let Nintendo make us feel like idiots. We may have been wrong.
