Review: Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
When Marvel vs Capcom 3
was released, fans jumped for joy at the long-awaited return of the
Marvel series. With the addition of new characters, a new mechanism called "X factor" and the promise of more in the form of DLC, this game seems to be the struggle to achieve. However, not even a year later, amid complaints about how "broken" factor X was and how some characters were controlled, Capcom has responded to the announcement of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 . How to update the budget for the "vanilla" version, there was some hostility to Capcom, the release of this game to capitalize on the failures of the first tranche.
Now that the game started, I was privileged to spend some time with it to form an opinion on how it accumulates until a new installment of this franchise . This game is a legitimate upgrade worth the money, or if it was an option that many people asking for DLC?
Ultimate Marvel Vs . Capcom 3
(PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 [reviewed])Developer: Capcom
Publisher: Capcom
Released: November 15, 2011MSRP: $ 39.99
will start by saying that I am a big fan of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 . While most other people on staff who probably played the game casually, or got into it at launch, but has gradually reduced the release of other successful, I play
since its launch. From my experience with the first delivery, while the list was extended, to play the competitive game, there were only a few characters I had to choose - Wekso, Dormammu, and Spencer was my team, and those who all the characters are familiar in the level of play high. You can imagine my excitement
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
now offers 12 new characters to try to integrate my team - six of Capcom universe (Frank West, Strider, Nemesis, Firebrand, Phoenix Wright, and Virgil), and six of Marvel (Nova, Rocket Raccoon, Iron Fist, Hawkeye, Dr. Strange and Ghost Rider). Characters such as Phoenix Wright, Frank Strider and West, were highly anticipated, while others, like New, Raccoon Iron Fist, Rocket and seemed dark, but they blend perfectly. The first observation about these new characters is that they are all very unique, which I consider an advantage. None of them play and have very unique styles of fighting. Phoenix Wright to collect evidence in the battle to become a useful person, but as in games, using Wright's experts can test completely destroy a opponent when used at the right time. Frank West, previously seen in Tatsunoko vs Capcom should take pictures to raise their level and allow access to certain movements and more powerful weapons.
On the side of Marvel, Iron Fist is a very down, which is based on "Rekka" in the style of movement to perform combos (Fei Long), and Dr. Strange is trying to their opponents into a false sense of security, zoning, and then captured in a trap. Each character is so different that you will learn how to play a game in itself is something that I felt a little lacking in the original cast of characters. I found myself spending hours in training mode, play with each character and learn to make the most of each. If the goal of Capcom was to add some variety to the game, then finally reached.
