Sequels are big business. Publishers are more comfortable financing already established that the games have proven to be a bestseller, and the majority of games coming out these days are proof. Just take a look at the last months of 2011: Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Battlefield 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Uncharted 3
