Next-Gen Console Wars Will Soon Begin In Earnest

U Wii was released late last year, Nintendo has a length ahead of the planned production of new video game consoles. Today, Sony announced a press conference on February 20 that it plans to release the PlayStation 4, codenamed "Orbis". It will be preceded by the announcement of the successor to the Xbox 360, codenamed "Durango", but is also likely to be announced at E3 in June. Specifications for development kits have been widely disclosed both systems. Both systems use both 8-core AMD chips were about 1.6 GHz.
