The PC version of Dead Space 3 will see improvements compared to the console versions, but Visceral Games does not seek to create "disparity" between the platforms. Dead Space 3 executive producer Steve Papoutsis told to clarify earlier reports that the next adventure tinged monster Isaac Clarke would bare PC port.

When asked why Dead Space 3 will not see a PC version optimized by Shacknews, Papoutsis said that the platform is "far less important to us. It draws attention PC is a very different platform. As developers, who want to offer an experience that is as close as possible on different platforms. "
- Visceral Games continues to "evolve our games as its development," said Papoutsis, "but certainly not target PC as something that will be very different. We do not seek to create disparity in the experience that our guests enjoy, we want to ensure that everyone has the same experience. "
- a powerful PC will benefit the console version then, but Visceral Games is not going out of their way to develop exclusive advantages such as DICE did with the PC version of Battlefield 3. "More importantly, you want to ensure the quality of the experience is consistent across all platforms, so we have a saying which is better in your database system user," said Papoutsis. "We want to be very good in all systems, that is our goal." Dead Space 3 - with co-op, and microtransactions N7 armor - will be released on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and 5 February in North America and February 8 in Europe.
