Earlier this week, Nintendo announced the price and release date for their upcoming Wii U console (if you need to catch up with new , check out this nifty set up assessment).


Since the new
revolves around a new Nintendo console, the Internet in general have a number of things to say about it. Whatever the price of the system will always be too expensive for a certain subset of the population. Whatever the line extended release ("Release" is a general term), there will be players who will be better disinterested and at worst offended. Some players even got his hat best analyst to predict the fall of Nintendo due to a "guarantee" Wii U launch poor.



While the intense debate and lively discussion can be fun, perpetually curious child inside me always see the imminent arrival of a new home console as a cause for celebration. There is a time for hope that a developer can see the same promise and why I believe that innovation is contained in this brand new equipment. It is as good a time as any to remember that this means of expression, art feeds the passion and love for all things games. I encourage you to discuss webcomics from last week, some of them appropriately on the theme of the Wii U, and then vote for your favorite after the holidays!
