The worst part is, disliking some of these games makes one feel like less of a gamer. Destructoid itself voted

? You know, the ones that were sent out to test their recent security update allowing developers more space on Xbox 360 game discs. You were probably super-stoked.

Review: TrackMania 2 Canyon
The question then usually comes down to "Is it as fun to watch as it is to play?" Well, is it?
TrackMania 2 Canyon
Developer: Nadeo
While Nadeo has cut out much of the fat -- there is no "career" to speak of -- make no mistake, there's plenty of complexity and subtle movement that goes into achieving the very best times. Progression and gear unlocks might be the norm, but it's refreshing to see Nadeo didn't feel obligated to include any of that functionality. The focus is on the racing itself, first and foremost.

TGS: Kinect title Haunt is not scary at all
Later the game opens up to let you explore a seemingly endless series of haunted hallways and rooms. In these bits you'll walk in place to progress down corridors, and the direction you point your flashlight guides your movement. Movement is a bit clunky and slow, and you look like an idiot marching in place, but it works. In one corridor a huge eye in a doorway watched on. I had to freeze my movement when his eye was open, and then run as fast as I could to progress while it was closed.
Review: Gears of War 3
is the long-awaited conclusion of one of this generation's most defining sagas, and Epic wants to end big. With more modes, more features, and a longer campaign than ever before, Gears of War 3
Gears 3
Gears of War 3
I'm one of the rare folks who enjoy more for its narrative campaign than its multiplayer modes. While I enjoy the various deathmatches, I've always loved . It's fun to play, tightly scripted, and decently paced, but it's lacking the special "something" that I found so endearing in the series.
ups the ante by awarding players cash during rounds, allowing them to build fortifications, set up dummy targets, and construct bases in pre-set positions. These various structures are vital in giving players the edge against their foes, which get considerably brutal by the fifth wave. While the new additions aren't the deepest, they add some flavor to a mode that was already damn good, and fans of survival modes will find an incredibly refined experience on offer with what Epic is calling Horde 2.0.
